Catching Workshop with Dominate the Dish

This clinic is an all-around catching experience, led by catching coaches Kirsten Cox, representing Dominate the Dish, and Lisa Maulden, Duke Softball's Director of Player Development.
Finding elite, catching specific clinics are few and far between. This clinic aims to give catchers a deep dive into the position, through thorough informational classroom sessions, paired with hands on instruction.
Prepare to be immersed in informational and small group instructional sessions, learning more about our Big 3: receiving, blocking, and throwing, and how they are each integrated into our game. Plan to learn more about mobility, arm care, plyo balls, skills and drills that you can take home and incorporate into your everyday warm ups, bullpens, and more. A bonus of this camp is the coach's experience and understanding of Motor Preference, with integration of individualized movements that are specific to your body type and the natural way that YOU move regarding the catching position.
Location: Duke Softball Stadium (4 Brodie Gym Drive, Durham NC 27705)
What To Bring: Each camper must bring her own softball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats, running shoes or turf shoes, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Refund Policy: Credit given for future camps for cancellations 10 days prior to camp. No refund or credit given if cancellation is within 10 days of camp.
